The village and its surrounding are ideal for both active and leisure holiday seekers. You can simply relax and forget all your worries and stress from the cities or you could go for adventure hikes. The options are endless and you can do whatever suits you. We will guide you when you arrive. There are also serious winter climbing possibilities barely 4 hours from the village in the winters when the upper valley is submerged in deep snow. The village has access to four high and difficult passes, all above 4000m, which used to be the traditional shepherd routes in their seasonal migrations. These should be attempted only by experienced and strong hikers. There are many rivers, streams, lakes and waterfalls that you can visit. There are also ancient temples and shepherd huts in the mountains that you can visit. We are proud of our abundant flora and fauna including more than 80 bird species and wildlife like Himalayan black bear, Himalayan Thar, blue sheep, leopard, etc. We mostly have mixed deciduous forests and you will see plenty of bamboo, oak, fir, birch, deodar and juniper. Except the winters our forests and mountain slopes are covered with flowers of all colors, prominent among them rhododendron and ferns and medicinal herbs. At night the sky is spectacular as there is almost no street light in the village and you have nearly 180 degrees view of the night sky. You can also join the villagers in their daily activities like cultivation, animal husbandry, or collecting firewood, weaving, etc. The village has strong cell-phone coverage.  Some of the activities that our past guests have enjoyed are:-
