Welcome to a piece of heaven on earth, to our little village Kareri. Nestled at 1850m this sleepy village has sprawling green fields, waterfalls, running streams, and around 80 families all under the shadows of the mighty Dhauladhar Range of mountain. All year round you have views of the snow covered peaks. In winter we occasionally have snow in the village and temperature often drops to zero. In the summer we normally average around 20 C. Monsoons are when you see lush vegetation and mists rolling down the hills. Wake up with the twittering birds and fill up your lungs with the fresh mountain air, only then would you realize why we say this is paradise. The peace and tranquility is ideal for creative people like artists and writers
